PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the construction period of renewal work of fluid pipes and to reduce a construction cost while suppressing the displacement and movement of both remaining pipes of a fluid pipe effectively after separating and removing a pipeline component of a renewal object. SOLUTION: A method of renewing the fluid pipes includes: a process in which an installation base 15, which has rigidity that can prevent relative proximity movement in the pipe axial direction of both remaining pipes 1A, 1B when separating and removing the pipeline component A of the renewal object, is carried in and arranged on the ground for a renewal work site; a process in which pipe clamping tools 18, which clamp and fix two portions at both end sides of the renewal work range of the fluid pipe 1, are fixed to the installation base 15; a process in which the two portions of both end sides of the renewal work range are closed by a flow-passage shut-off device 40 having a valve body; a process in which the pipeline component A of the renewal object of the fluid pipe 1 is separated and carried away; a process in which a new pipeline component is connected to both remaining pipes 1A, 1B of the fluid pipe 1 after carrying-away; a process in which the flow-passage shut-off device 40 is carried away; and a process in which openings 16 at two portions of the fluid pipe 1 are sealed externally.
