PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line type high lighting intensity illumination device which enables the running speed of a camera to get high. SOLUTION: The high lighting intensity illumination device is equipped with an independently configurated light source being disposed under an object to be tested and being made up of a tandem arrangement type light source which is composed of a plurality of fluorescent tubes arranged under the object to be tested along a direction of illumination and a condenser type reflection plate consisting of a pair of right and left reflection plates reflecting light from each fluorescent tube so as to focus the light onto the same focal point; and a parallel arranged light source which is made up by arranging a pair of tandem arrangement type light sources in parallel each being composed of a plurality of fluorescent tubes arranged along the direction of illumination and the condenser type reflection plate consisting of a pair of right and left reflection plates reflecting the light from each fluorescent tube so as to focus the light onto the same focal point and which is arranged above the object to be tested so as to focus the light from each tandem arrangement type light source onto the same focal point.
