AN ENDO-BETA-1,4-GLUCANASE D MUTANT WITH AN IMPROVED THERMOSTABILITY AND ACID-RESISTANCE AND THE PREPARATION METHOD

PURPOSE: A Clostridium cellulovorans-derived endo-beta-1,4-glucanase(EGD) mutant is provided to improve thermal stability and acid resistance. CONSTITUTION: An endoglucanase-D mutant has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. The mutant has acid resistacne or thermal resistance. A gene encoding the mutant protein has a base sequence of sequence number 2. The endoglucanase-D mutant is prepared by mixing endoglucanase-E of Clostridium thermocellum having thermal resistance with Clostridium cellulovorans-derived endoglucanase-D having acid resistance.
