The device has magnets (1-12) axially displaced in an angular position, where a sinusoidal wave field is generated in working spaces in a surrounding fixed part, and develops an axial force in reciprocal action with reaction parts. Maximum field densities near the saturation point in the working spaces are achieved by a selection of diameter of excitation units and definition of magnetic dimension in relation to the gap lengths. Diametrically arranged guide members determine filed guidance at a circumference of conducting elements.
