PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for identifying a parameter of a maximum margin classifier together with resolution by utilizing resolution of NMF in a form of expression by combining the resolution with the maximum margin classifier, and formulating a common update equation. SOLUTION: The method for resolving a matrix vector includes minimizing a cost function in which non-negative matrix factorization NMF is combined with the maximum margin classifier by updating it by continuous repetition, and determining indexes of all support vectors of the maximum margin classifier together with the resolution.
