PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a start control device that starts a system at high speed without reducing the memory capacity that an operating system uses during normal system operation.
SOLUTION: During a system power-off process, a save area for storing the data required to start a system is created within an OS managing area on a RAM rendered nonvolatile by a battery backup or the like, and after the data required on a ROM is saved, the system power is turned off. During system reboot, the data is read from the save area, and after the system start is complete, unnecessary data in the save area is released to the operating system, thereby the system is started at high speed without reducing the memory capacity that the operating system uses during the normal system operation.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
