PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of accurately adjusting misalignment by a simple configuration without an increase in the number of parts when a bearing is fixed in a motor case. SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine includes a bottomed cylindrical frame 3, a stator 1 fixed in the frame 3, a bottomed cylindrical bracket 4 whose opening is placed over the stator 1 and which is coupled with the frame 3, and a rotor 2 that is placed with a gap against the inner circumferential part of the stator 1, fixed on a rotating shaft 26 rotatably supported in the center of the bottom of the frame 3 and the center of the bottom of the bracket 4, and rotated coaxially with the central axis of the stator 1. Part of the stator 1 is protruded from the opening in the frame 3. Between the outer circumferential part of the stator 1 protruded from the opening in the frame 3 and the inner circumferential part of the bracket 4, there is provided a gap 9 for moving the bracket 4 in the radial direction to correct misalignment of the rotating shaft 26.
