PURPOSE: A system for analysis and search of a color image using a mobile device and method thereof are provided to search an image photographing an mobile device in real time and to obtain the information about the image in real time. CONSTITUTION: An image preprocessing unit(503) controls the brightness and chroma of a color image received from a mobile device as a standard value. An image characteristic extractor(505) extracts RGB value of an image controlled by the image preprocessing unit. A determination unit(507) determines whether there are the same or the similar image by comparing a RGB value of the extracted RGB value and the pre-stored images. A cloud data base(509) and smaple images are stored.
