<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of shortening a gas sensor element while preventing its response ability from being deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: In the gas sensor 100, at least a portion of a heater contact part 201 is positioned at a rear side in comparison with the head of a main metal member 105, and an enlarged diameter part 501 is formed so that a through hole 171 whose diameter is enlarged toward the head of the main metal member 105, and an inlet-side vent hole 182 for introducing gas into an inner protector 181 are disposed between the head of the main metal member 105 and an inner cylindrical part 184. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
