<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain change of aperture stops according to the change in brightness of a subject during motion picture recording, without causing degradation in picture quality of a motion picture image. <P>SOLUTION: A photographing apparatus such as a digital single lens reflex camera is equipped with an imaging element that is controlled by an electronic shutter of a rolling method and a lens unit whose aperture stop changes stepwise. A free time ΔT after completion of integration period Te of a last pixel line 111a in each frame of a single frame cycle Tf synchronized with vertical synchronizing signal VD, is assigned with an aperture stop drive time Td for changing an aperture stop value Av. By this, degradation in picture quality of a motion picture image which is caused by fluctuation of the aperture stop value Av during exposure period (integration period Te) is prevented, to obtain appropriate change of stop value Av according to the change in brightness of subject during motion picture recording. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
