The device (Z) has counter supports comprising counter support rings (1, 2) for retaining two cable loops. Retaining bars (4, 5) are movably fastened at the counter supports and release the counter support rings for introduction of the two cable loops in a cable introduction position. The retaining bars overlap with the counter support rings in a cable retaining position such that each inserted cable loop is looped around one of the retaining bars and lies at cable bearing surfaces (15, 16) of the retaining bars and cable bearing surfaces (17-20) of the counter support rings.
