SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CALCULATING CORRELATION MATRIX OF RECEIVED WAVE, SYSTEM FOR ESTIMATING DIRECTION OF WAVE SOURCE AND SYSTEM FOR ESTIMATING POSITION OF WAVE SOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for calculating a correlation matrix of a received wave which can also reduce the wave source cross-correlation value, when a bandwidth of a wave source is narrow.

SOLUTION: The system for calculating the correlation matrix of the received wave receives radio wave by an array antenna 24a and calculates the correlation matrix. The system converts a direction matrix in each frequency of the received wave into a direction matrix in a prescribed frequency, rotates the phase of the direction matrix in the prescribed frequency, performs frequency averaging of the direction matrix subjected to the phase rotation and calculates an averaged correlation matrix.
