<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical treatment method of molten fly ash (MFA), which prevents arsenic and selenium from being eluted and dispenses with the need of separately adding a special chemical agent for immobilizing. <P>SOLUTION: In the chemical treatment method of MFA for the purpose of fixing heavy metal, arsenic and selenium in the MFA, a chelate chemical agent for fixing heavy metal, slaked lime for fixing arsenic and selenium, and water are added to MFA and the mixture is kneaded. In the method, the amount of the slaked lime required for immobilizing arsenic and selenium in the MFA is computed from sulfur compound, phosphorus compound, and calcium contained in MFA and added to the MFA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
