The plurality of pixels (13) comprise the following components formed inside the substrate: first photoelectric conversion units (21); second photoelectric conversion units (22), at least portions of which are provided immediately below the first photoelectric conversion units (21); and floating diffusions (25) directly connected to the second photoelectric conversion units (22).
