<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method reproducing an image signal by means of a VC-1 (Video Codec-1) encoding system in real time in a Blu-ray reproducing device. <P>SOLUTION: A conversion processing method of an image signal, performs signal conversion processing of an image signal comprising a discrete pixel signal group into a frequency component, encodes the frequency component by the VC-1 encoding system, and also performs decoding processing of an image signal of a simple profile or a main profile obtained in this way with the same algorithm as that of decoding processing of an advanced profile of the VC-1 encoding system. The method includes a step 4 in which an offset value of a frequency component corresponding to a constant to be added to a pixel signal in the decoding processing of the advanced profile is subjected to addition processing to a frequency component of a decoded signal of the simple profile or the main profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
