PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting display device preventing a specific color transmission layer from being exposed. SOLUTION: This light emitting display device 1a is composed of: a display plate 10 having a specific color transmission region 11 formed into a fixed pattern and transmitting a specific color being visible color within a scope of fixed wavelength and a light shielding region 12; and a light irradiating means 20 arranged on a rear surface side 82 of the display plate to irradiate the display plate with the light including the specific color when this light emitting display device is lit. The specific color transmission region 11 is formed by laminating colored layers (111, 112) of P pieces (P is a positive integer of 2 or more) and having different colors from one another, and the light shielding region is formed by a light shielding layer 120. When color difference between each of the colored layers and the light shielding layer is represented by▵E*ab,▵E*ab is calculated with respect to the P-pieces of colored layers, respectively, and the colored layer having the minimum value of▵E*ab is arranged on a surface side to constitute the display plate laminating the P-pieces colored layers.
