PURPOSE: A video dividing device and a method for dividing video for the same are provided to display a divided image of a plurality of portable terminals in a multi screen method, thereby transmitting high definition video data to a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A video request terminal(111) requests division output of video data. A video receiving terminal(112) receives divided video data. An encoding server(120) encodes an original image into divided images. To enable each divided image to be respectively streamed in an image request terminal and image receiving terminal, a streaming server(130) connects the interval between the encoder server and image request terminal and the image receiving terminal.
