Proposed method comprises placing explosives in soil with blasting and initiation appliances. Detonating cord is used as blast initiator. Depth of soil contamination is determined and mole drains are arranged at the contamination boundary depth with spacing not exceeding drain depth. Drains are laid in two stages: first, a line of parallel drains is laid all over the area. Then drains perpendicular to those laid at the first stage are laid.
