<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven power steering device capable of assistance-controlling steering dependent on a steering angle just after idling stop, and capable of reducing unfamiliar feeling imparted to a driver. <P>SOLUTION: This motor-driven power steering device is mounted on a vehicle 21 having an idling stop mechanism (engine control part) 22 for conducting automatically the idling stop according to a prescribed condition, includes a torque sensor 3 for detecting steering torque, a steering angle sensor 11 for detecting the steering angle relative to a learnt steering angle midpoint, an EPS motor 8 with an assisting force controlled in response to the steering torque and the steering angle, and a resolver 8a for detecting a rotation angle of the EPS motor, and determines the steering angle just after the idling stop, based on the steering angle detected by the steering angle sensor 11 just before the idling stop and based on fluctuation of the rotation angle detected by the resolver 8a during the idling stop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
