PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker by which the connection work between wirings can be easily carried out and a case member can be reduced in size. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker 1 has the case member 6 for housing an electronic substrate 5, and the case member includes a case body 6A, of which two adjacent surfaces are opened, and a cover 6B which is detachable with respect to the case body 6A and opens/closes an opening of at least one surface of the case body 6A. Thus, by removing the cover 6B, work related to wiring connection, such as routing of wiring can be easily carried out, excessive length, is also made shorter, and the case member 6 is reduced in size.
