A support that serves for securely hanging up a coat or other object. This support contains a small hook or other mechanism from which an object can be hung and a mechanism that can lock at least one end of a cable. This cable locks the coat or other object because it is inserted through a sleeve or other hole in the object after which the end is again locked inside the device. The other end of the cable is either or not locked to the support.
