PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label issuing apparatus which effectively utilizes a scaling function which the apparatus originally has while complying with regulations. SOLUTION: The label issuing apparatus 100 displays information related to a measured value of a product at a measuring part 102 on an information display part 3. In a state that the product is set for the issuance of a fixed amount label 5 in an information storage part 11, an information display controller 7 conceals the information of the measured value of the product at the information display part when the measured value of the product at the measuring part is larger than a threshold value. After the controller conceals the information of the measured value at the display part, a label issuing controller starts the issuance of a fixed amount label from a label issuing part 4.
