PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for laying a floor finishing material regulating easily the position of the floor finishing material on an underfloor ground face, without lowering workability. SOLUTION: This method for laying the floor finishing material includes the first process for bonding a pressure-sensitive adhesive double coated tape 10 in a position for laying the floor finishing material 20 on the underfloor ground face 1, under the condition where a release paper sheet 13 is bonded on a pressure-sensitive adhesive face 12a bonded with the floor finishing material 20 of the pressure-sensitive adhesive double coated tape 10; the second process for arranging the floor finishing material 20, on the pressure-sensitive adhesive double coated tape 10 under the condition where the release paper sheet 13 is bonded on the pressure-sensitive adhesive face 12a; the third process for position-regulating the floor finishing material 20 arranged on the pressure-sensitive adhesive double coated tape 10; and the fourth process for separating the release paper sheet 13, in a portion arranged with the floor finishing material 20 in the pressure-sensitive adhesive double coated tape 10, from a not-yet arranged portion side of the floor finishing material 20, and for bonding the floor finishing material 20 on the underfloor ground face 1.
