<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert sufficient strength and damping force in a wooden building by suitably preventing displacement and buckling in the out-of-place direction of a frame surface. <P>SOLUTION: A seismic control device 20 for the wooden building includes: plywood 21 which is arranged in parallel with the frame surface 14 of a frame 10, whose corner portions corresponding to four corners of the frame surface 14 are notched respectively in a rectangular shape, and whose right and left side edges except the notched portions are brought to abut on adjacent vertical frames 13, respectively; a damping member 23 crossing between upper and lower frames 11 and 12 which are respectively adjacent to the plywood 21 at the upper and lower portions; a fixing means (angle fitting 22) for fixing the right and left side edges of the plywood 21 to the adjacent vertical frames 13, respectively; and a buckling prevention means (lateral retainer material 24) for preventing the displacement of the plywood 21 in a direction orthogonal to the frame surface 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
