PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with a housing member by which a booklet is easily taken out from a front side without protruding from an image forming apparatus body. SOLUTION: A front side face part 112 out of the side face parts of the apparatus body 1 is positioned on an inner side than a rear side face part 111 so as to form a stepped part 110, and a booklet holding member 120 is arranged on a near side portion. The booklet holding member 120 comprises a protrusion part 121 arranged to protrude from the front side surface part 112, and an erected part side surface 122 arranged to be erected toward an upper side from the edge of the protrusion part 121, and is constituted of material having elasticity to be almost L-shaped as a whole.
