The wall element (10) has an outer layer (31) facing an outer chamber, where a surface (32a) is designed to face towards a building facade. Vacuum insulating elements are formed as vacuum insulating plate (40). The vacuum insulating plate is provided with through holes or recesses, which are surrounded completely by welding edges. An assembly device (21) is provided, which extends through an outer layer. The outer layer is made of polystyrene. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a product line; and (2) a method for manufacturing a wall element for thermal insulation of building facades.
