The steering wheel actuator device has a steering wheel actuator (10a) for operating a valve unit (11a) and a base unit (12a) which is provided for fastening the steering wheel actuator on a base support (13a). A connecting unit (14a) is provided which firmly connects a part of the steering wheel actuator with a part of the base unit in mounting condition. The connecting unit has a form-fit unit (15a) which is provided to establish a form-fit connection between the steering wheel actuator and the base unit by a mounting movement. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a steering wheel actuator device, particularly a phase adjustable steering wheel actuator.
