<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative phase difference film for achieving high glass transition temperature while keeping the original molding property of acrylic resin and excellent optical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This phase difference film is made of thermoplastic resin composition that contains acrylic polymer having positive intrinsic birefringence and styrene polymer having negative intrinsic birefringence, and has negative intrinsic birefringence.
