METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LITHIUM ION BATTERY AND ENCAPSULATING SHELL OF LITHIUM ION BATTERY

A method for manufacturing a lithium ion battery is provided, which includes the following steps: a battery cell is enclosed in an encapsulating shell (1) and an opening at one end of a hollow pipe (5) is arranged in the encapsulating shell (1) while an opening at the other end is arranged outside the encapsulating shell (1) that is sealed at the periphery and communicated with the outside through the hollow pipe (5); the encapsulating shell (1) is connected to a vacuumization equipment for vacuumizing through the hollow pipe (5); an electrolyte is injected and laid up; the battery is formed and vacuumized; and the battery is sealed to obtain the product of the lithium ion battery. An encapsulating shell (1) of the lithium ion battery is also provided, wherein the hollow pipe (5) is arranged at the encapsulating shell (1) with an opening at one end of the hollow pipe (5) in the encapsulating shell (1) and an opening at the other end outside the encapsulating shell (1) so that the encapsulating shell (1) is communicated with the outside through the hollow pipe (5). The method has simple manufacture process, does not require such expensive equipment with low universality as injection equipment and moistening equipment, and can avoid the corrosion of a battery shell by the electrolyte and improve the battery performance.
