PURPOSE: A device for securing voice and data of small ad-hoc radio and a method of the same are provided to obtain the security when voice and data communicate while in state of small radio having ad-hoc function. CONSTITUTION: A terminal operation unit(530) applies a security key according to the valid signal to a transmission data or reception data in case of a method operation of small ad-hoc radio is operated to the data transceiving terminal. The terminal operation unit performs encryption or decryption of the transmission data or the reception data. A relay mode operation(540) decodes the voice among data which is received based on encryption key, in case of the method for operating the small ad-hoc radio is in relay mode. The relay mode operation outputs the voice as revealing mode by bypassing the voice.
