PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit operation of an application program from a client device side, and to operate a desired application program on the client device side without affecting an application program whose image is displayed on a server device. SOLUTION: When a server computer 1 receives a request of the client computer 2, the server computer 1 reads, based on an application designation number and rectangular range data set in a setting file SF1, a rectangular area in image data of a designated application program from an expansion area 131 for the client and transmits it to the client computer 2. In the client computer 2, the application program can be operated within a range of the rectangular area. The expansion area 131 for the client for expanding the image data to the client computer 2 is independent of an expansion area 121 for the server for expanding image data to be displayed on a display device 14.
