PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folded plate which dispenses with a long construction time, and has proper sound insulation performance. SOLUTION: The folded plate 2 for a roof includes a mount 21 and a valley 25. The backside of the folded plate 2 is coated with damping paint 40 for absorbing vibration by converting the vibration to thermal energy. The roof is formed by superposing the folded plates 2 on each other. The pair of mounts 21 and 21 are provided at both laying-direction ends of the folded plate 2, respectively; a top surface 22, a swelling portion 23 and a dent portion 24 are provided on the mount 21; and the swelling portion 23 of the one folded plate is fitted to a swelling portion 33 of the other folded plate, and latched to the dent portion 34 of the other folded plate.
