<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple magnetic tape library device which allows housed various magazines to be safely removed from the device by the same operation. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic tape library device 10 has: a plurality of magazines 20 each housing a plurality of magnetic tape cartridges therein; and a device body 11 housing the magazines 20 in series so as to be freely movable in series, from the opening 11D within the same plane in the insertion/removal direction X. It has a connecting mechanism 30 to connect the magazines 20 each other or separating them from each other from the outside, and a lock mechanism 40 to lock or unlock at least one of the magazines 20 located at the rear in the insertion/removal direction X of the device body 11 at the opening 11D with respect to the device body 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
