PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment ornament having a structure completely different from that of a conventional garment ornament to give a viewer revolutionary impression. SOLUTION: This garment ornament is so designed that a pocket 20 arranged in the body 10 of a garment is made of a dress material comprising two cloths of a face cloth 20a and a lining 20b, the peripheral parts 20a-20d of the pocket 20 are sewn on the body 10 by sewing yarn, reference numeral 30 is a cutting-plane line cutting only the face cloth 20a, and a seam 31 made by stitching the face cloth 20a and the lining 20b together by sewing yarn is formed so as to be situated in a place at a previously fixed distance from the cutting-plane line 30. Furthermore, the cutting-plane line 30 is surrounded by the seam made by stitching the face cloth 20a and the lining 20b together, and the weaving thread of the face cloth 20a between the cutting-plane line 30 and the seam 31 becomes loose to form a pattern of the ornament.
