PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring device for moving, mixing and stirring all contents in order to mix and stir powder or viscous contents inside a container, and a mixing and stirring container equipped with the stirring device. SOLUTION: A vertically and horizontally symmetrical stirring device (3) and a square pole type cylindrical container (2) which has lids (1) at the top and the bottom and is equipped with two stirring devices vertically in the inside are developed. When the mixing and stirring container is turned upside down, the contents (5) and (6) are divided into 1/3 and 2/3 of the capacity when going in and out of the stirring devices, the difference is leveled in the horizontal direction and mixed, and the entire contents are stirred to the inner side and the outer side simultaneously. Also, since the mixing and stirring container is inverted and the contents are moved from the lower part to the upper part, the contents are mixed and stirred by the combined movement in three direction to the left and the right, to the inside and the outside and to the upper part and the lower part. Thus, the mixing and stirring container is rotated without using power to move all the contents and the contents are uniformly mixed and stirred from the bottom to every corner.
