PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool a motor stator, regarding a motor stator which is formed by arranging a plurality of split stators circumferentially, and to provide the split stators. SOLUTION: A motor stator is constituted by arranging a plurality of split stators 20 circumferentially. Each split stator 20 includes a peripheral split core part 3a on the peripheral side, a tooth part 3b which extends toward the center from the peripheral core part, and a coil 2 which is wound on the tooth part. With the length of an inner perimeter being the width on the inner perimeter side of the coil 2, Lin and the length of a periphery being the peripheral length of a peripheral core part, Lout, and with the radius of the inner perimeter being the radius on the inner perimeter side of the coil is Rin, and the radius of the periphery being the radius of the peripheral core part, the relation Rout, Lin/Rin<Lout/Rout is satisfied. Then, each of a plurality of split stators 3a is arranged circumferentially via a wedge-shaped heat-conducting fin 5 into doughnut form, and the heat-conducting fin 5 is made of a nonmagnetic substance having proper thermal conductivity.
