PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image diagnostic apparatus for reducing risk and inconvenience due to a blind area by visually recognizing the blind area for an operator, which is caused by an imaging unit including a C-arm. SOLUTION: The X-ray image diagnostic apparatus 100 includes: landscape-operator imaging means 13 for imaging a landscape in an inspection room and the operator of the X-ray image diagnostic apparatus; and a processing circuit 17 for calculating position information of the operator, based on a video image acquired by the landscape-operator imaging means 13, specifying the blind area caused by the C-arm when viewed from the position of the operator, based on the position information of the operator and the position information of the C-arm, extracting the video image corresponding to the specified area as the blind area in the video image acquired by the landscape-operator imaging means 13, and allowing display means 15 to display the extracted video image.
