PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a document to participants in a conference by using a multi-person display device such as a projector while ensuring confidentiality of the document.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 for providing an image to a projector 2 through a communication line includes: an inquiry processing part 108 and a document projection control part 109. The inquiry processing part 108 transmits image data DTG of the image to a user's personal computer 3 in order to inquire whether to permit the projector 2 of the user to display the image. When receiving a response to permit the projector 2 to display the image, the document projection control part 109 transmits the image data DTG to the projector 2.
