PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a detection material in which spots of a reactant are quantitatively supported on a porous sheet such as paper and felt by a conventional method, and a colored zone area containing the reactant and a non-colored zone area not containing the reactant are alternately disposed. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the detection material, the colored zone area supporting the reactant to be colored and the non-colored zone area not supporting the reactant are alternately disposed on the porous sheet in the longitudinal direction of the porous sheet by contacting a target material. A portion to be the non-colored zone area of the porous sheet is previously covered with a solvent impermeable member. The porous sheet is immersed in a solution for solving the reactant. The reactant is supported in a portion to be the colored zone area of the porous sheet by extracting the porous sheet and evaporating the solvent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
