<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the loss increases in a power converter where a DC power supply is connected between the neutral point of a load and one end of a DC middle capacitor of a three-phase inverter because the charging of the DC capacitor and the driving power of the load are handled by the inverter. <P>SOLUTION: A power conversion system includes a transformer having the secondary winding of star-connection, a first power converter which converts the AC three-phase voltage of the secondary winding of a transformer into a DC voltage, a second power converter which shares the DC section with the first power converter, a first switch connected between the neutral point of the secondary winding of the transformer and the DC power supply, and a second switch connected between the neutral point of the load of the second power converter and the DC power supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
