摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery which can fully supply a fuel gas and an oxidizer gas to a catalyst layer, located at a peripheral edge rather than a position corresponding to a long and narrow opening for gas supply and an opening for gas discharge, arranged on a separator and widens a power generation area, as much as possible, and can raise a use rate of the power generation area, as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel battery having a fuel battery cell 10, made of a membrane-electrode assembly 3, gas-permeation layers on both sides of the membrane-electrode assembly, and a separator 7, at least the catalyst layers 2' are formed on both a center range 2'a corresponding to an inner side rather than the opening for gas supply and a peripheral edge range 2'b made of a range corresponding to the opening and a range outside rather than the opening, and a different gas inlet passage 6'a and a gas leading-out passage are formed, at a position corresponding to the peripheral edge range of the catalyst layer or a position corresponding to a range outside rather than the peripheral edge range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
