PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas alarm provided with an alarm stop operation part, which ensures safety by preventing delay of an alarm even when a detection target gas leaks during an alarm stop. SOLUTION: A CPU controlling the gas alarm issues an alarm when a gas concentration detected by a gas sensor is an alarm value or above. The CPU forcibly stops the alarm for a certain time when an alarm stop button is operated when the alarm is issued. The CPU does not issue the alarm again even if the gas concentration detected by the gas sensor increases until a predetermined time T2 shorter than the certain time elapses after the alarm is stopped, and generates the alarm when the gas concentration detected by the gas sensor increases after the lapse of the predetermined time T2.
