PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize a structure capable of effectively preventing the shifting of a position of a steering wheel upon secondary collision, without requiring especially accuracy, concerning a tilt telescopic steering device. SOLUTION: With the rotations of an adjusting lever 18a, tilt locking recessed/projecting portions 49, 49 of a pair of tilt locking eccentric cams 47a, 47b are pressed against the curved edges 48, 48 of supporting plates 34, 34. The telescopically locking recessed/projecting portion 57 of a telescopically locking eccentric cam 53 is pressed against the lower surface of an inner column. Upon the secondary collision, those recessed/projecting portions 49, 57 are engaged with partner surfaces, thereby preventing the shifting of the steering wheel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
