PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for efficiently trapping foreign matter existing inside after assembling. SOLUTION: The filter comprises a surface-like filter medium formed with a plurality of holes for permeating ink, a filter case having an upstream ink path and a downstream ink path for running the ink from one side to the other side crossing the filter medium and sandwiching the outer periphery of the filter medium from the two directions of the one side and the other side for fixing the filter medium, and a membrane for coating inner surfaces of the filter medium and the filter case in which the ink flows after fixing the filter medium to the filter case.
