PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor unit for a vehicle for effectively cooling a neutral point and a midpoint line. SOLUTION: The motor unit for the vehicle includes: a motor 23 including a rotor 22 mounted on a shaft 24; and a stator 21 wound with a coil 20 and oppositely arranged along the peripheral surface of the rotor. The motor unit for the vehicle further includes: a motor housing including a crossing housing 16 continuously connected at both ends in the axial direction of a stator housing; and an oil circulating mechanism circulating oil 71 stored in the motor housing. In the motor unit for the vehicle, the midpoint line 32 is connected at the neutral point 31 while being laid on the rear side of the vehicle in the coil from the upper part of the stator. In the motor unit for the vehicle, a push-up bottom 55 forming a part of an approximately cylindrical inner peripheral surface 16a in the push-up bottom is formed on the rear side of the vehicle in the crossing housing while an oil reservoir 51 bulged to the outside in the radial direction of a part of the inner peripheral surface is formed on the front side of the vehicle in the crossing housing.
