<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network server etc., that has more superior compatibility when content is output through a network. <P>SOLUTION: The network server includes: a reception section which receives content from a client device connected through the network; a conversion decision section which acquires metadata of the content, decides whether the media format of the content is converted according to the metadata, and selects a new media format according to the metadata, and a format conversion section which converts the media format of the content into the media format selected by the conversion decision section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
