<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure a ground height of a cable even having a thin part to be measured. <P>SOLUTION: The ground height measuring device includes a laser radar which measures a distance by two-dimensionally scanning a measuring laser beam in a range of an approximately upper predetermined solid angle, a computer which derives a minimum vertical height in the range based on the angle between the irradiation direction of the measuring laser beam and a vertical direction and the result of the measurement, and a display which displays the minimum vertical height by a numerical value. The two-dimensional scanning is preferably performed within one to several seconds. After the scanning, the laser beam may be irradiated by fixing the irradiating direction to derive the minimum value to visually confirm the laser beam hitting the cable or the measurement result at various spots in the range may be graphically displayed to recognize a shape or a position of the object to be measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
