A method for dynamically allocating the wireless resources used for transmission of multimedia broadcast multicast services (MBMS) in a multicast broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN) is provided. The method comprises: within a current allocation period, according to the quality of service (QoS) requirement of each MBMS service or each MBMS service group that is used for MBSFN transmission, a multi-cell/multicast coordination entity (MCE) determines the semi-static MBMS allocation information for each MBMS service or each MBMS service group. Said MBMS service group is a service group formed by statistically multiplexing the MBMS services that have the same block error rate as their QoS requirements. Said MCE informs each base station and the corresponding mobile stations under its control in the MBSFN area of the determined semi-static MBMS allocation information. And, according to the semi-static MBMS allocation information received from the MCE, as well as the actual data volume to be processed by each MBMS service or each MBMS service group, each base station allocates the wireless resource dynamically. |
