<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to surely prevent product water from collecting at an outlet side of a reaction gas flow channel and maintain superb power generation reaction and cooling performance. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 10 is provided with cooling medium flow channels 44. Each cooling medium flow channel 44 consists of a first wave-like flow channel groove part 44a as a rear-face shape of a first fuel gas flow channel 36, and a second wave-like flow channel groove part 44b as a rear-face shape of a second oxidant gas flow channel 66. The cooling medium flow channel 44 is structured as a deep-groove part 72a with the first wave-like flow channel groove part 44a and the second wave-like flow channel groove part 44b overlapped with each other, a shallow-groove part 72b made up only of the first wave-like flow channel groove part 44a, and a shallow groove part 72c made up only of the second wave-like flow channel groove part 44b are continuously extended in a waveform state.
