<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food forming apparatus capable of lessening gaps through which air is intruded into the food as far as possible by closely contacting a dough sheet with an inner material in the case of wrapping the inner material with the dough sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The food forming apparatus is provided with a forming mat having a square shape and fixed on a pallet, and a dough sheet having nearly same square shape is placed on the mat and intermittently transported. The inner material is placed on a center part of the dough sheet. Four tongue lever driving mechanisms 20A to 20D are arranged under the pallet in the transfer direction, tongue levers are successively protruded through long holes of the pallet to bend the forming mat, thereby successively folding four corners of the dough sheet to wrap the inner material with the dough sheet folded into four. In the above process, the bent parts of the forming mat is pressed with pressing plates 306, 307, 326 and 327 of mat-pressing mechanisms 300 and 320 to closely contact the dough sheet with side faces of the inner material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
